This piece reflects the story of Prince Siddharta Gautama. At the age of 29, he discovered there was much suffering in the world around him. Being shocked by the suffering of all living beings, he decided to search for way to end it. He gave up his royal life and left his wife, child, the palace and started out on a spiritual quest. Gautama studied under many teachers and mastered all their practices including extreme ascetic practices which almost killed him. He then sat down under a Bodhi-tree and decided not to get up until he discovered the truth. Just a short time later, he became a fully enlightened Buddha. He actualized all positive potentials of a sentient being and rid himself of all negative qualities.
